Amazon deploys 5,000 more AI delivery glasses, plans 20,000-plus by 2027

Amazon (AMZN) is deploying 5,000 additional smart-glasses devices this year and plans to expand the delivery-driver rollout to more than 20,000 devices by the end of 2027.

More than 500 Delivery Associates have tested the wearable system on real delivery routes over the past 18 months, completing more than 275,000 customer deliveries. Amazon said their feedback shaped features ranging from display clarity to comfort during all-day use.
