This Privacy Policy explains how Stockwhiz collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account, use WhizInsights or other features, receive communications, or purchase a subscription. By using Stockwhiz, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Depending on how you use Stockwhiz, we may collect:

• Account and profile information: first name, last name, email address, password credentials maintained by our authentication provider, phone number if supplied, profile image, plan, and account status.
• Preferences and activity: watchlist items, bookmarks, notification choices, WhizInsights requests and credit usage, viewed content, and interactions with the service.
• Subscription information: selected plan, billing cycle, transaction and order identifiers, subscription status, and limited payment metadata. Stripe processes card information; Stockwhiz does not store complete card numbers.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, timestamps, diagnostics, and cookie or similar identifiers.
• Communications: messages, support requests, survey responses, and other information you choose to send us.
• Notification information: browser permissions and device tokens used to deliver alerts when you enable push notifications.

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from your activity within Stockwhiz, and from service providers involved in authentication, payments, analytics, email, hosting, AI processing, and notifications. Public company and market information displayed by Stockwhiz is not treated as your personal information.

We use personal information to:

• create, verify, secure, and manage your account;
• provide watchlists, bookmarks, WhizInsights, alerts, subscriptions, and other requested features;
• process purchases and administer plans, credits, renewals, cancellations, and billing support;
• send verification, security, account, service, and support messages;
• send product updates, market communications, or promotional email where permitted, with an unsubscribe option;
• measure traffic, understand feature use, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and improve Stockwhiz;
• protect users, enforce our terms, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims; and
• perform other purposes disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.

When you request or interact with WhizInsights or another AI feature, article content, relevant prompts, and technical information needed to generate the response may be processed by our AI service providers. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information through AI features. We may retain generated insights and related usage records to provide cached results, manage credits, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.

Stockwhiz uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support security, enable notifications, and understand website use. We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated usage and device information. You can limit cookies through browser settings, although some account and preference features may not work correctly. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not uniformly supported.

We may disclose information to vendors that help provide Stockwhiz, including providers of cloud hosting and authentication, analytics, AI processing, email delivery, push notifications, customer support, and payment processing. They receive information only as reasonably needed for their services and operate under their own terms and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or with your direction or consent. Stockwhiz does not sell personal information for money.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of information. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information where it no longer identifies you.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Stockwhiz and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate measures for cross-border transfers.

You can update profile and notification choices through your account. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message; essential account and security communications may continue. You can disable browser notifications in Stockwhiz or your browser settings.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent, and to appeal or complain to a regulator. These rights may be subject to lawful exceptions. To submit a request, email connect@stockwhiz.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Stockwhiz is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this policy as Stockwhiz, our providers, or applicable law changes. The updated date will appear above, and material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
