RUTLAND, Vt., Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Casella Waste Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CWST), a regional solid waste, recycling and resource management services company, announced that the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation issued a permit to expand its Hakes Construction and Demolition (“C&D”) Landfill located in Campbell, New York (“the Hakes Landfill”) disposal area by approximately 43.3 acres. The expansion provides an estimated 5.8 million cubic yards of additional disposal capacity.
The Hakes Landfill is currently permitted to accept up to 466,000 tons per year of C&D material.
