Dallas, Texas, Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CompX International Inc. (NYSE American: CIX) announced today net sales of $44.0 million for the third quarter of 2026 compared to $40.0 million in the same period of 2025. Operating income was $6.4 million in the third quarter of 2026 compared to $4.8 million in the same period of 2025. Net income was $5.4 million, or $.44 per basic and diluted common share, for the third quarter of 2026 compared to $4.2 million, or $.34 per basic and diluted common share, in the same period of 2025.
For the nine months ended September 30, 2026, net sales were $128.2 million compared to $120.6 million in the previous year. Operating income was $22.4 million for the first nine months of 2026 compared to $17.0 million for the same period in 2025. Net income for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, was $18.5 million, or $1.50 per basic and diluted common share, compared to $14.8 million, or $1.20 per basic and diluted common share, for the same period in 2025.
