SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Deep Origin today announced a multi-target AI-driven drug discovery collaboration with BioAge Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIOA), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutic product candidates for cardiometabolic diseases by targeting the biology of human aging. The collaboration has reached its first milestone: novel small-molecule hits identified computationally by Deep Origin against a novel BioAge target have been validated in BioAge’s wet lab.
The collaboration aims to speed drug development against novel targets by utilizing hybrid AI and physics-based models for computational drug discovery. Under the agreement, Deep Origin applies its computational drug discovery platform to BioAge’s selected targets to find novel hits against them. BioAge then verifies the functional activity of those hits in its own laboratory and leads hit-to-lead optimization, selection of development candidates, and clinical development. Deep Origin is eligible to receive success-based milestone payments.
