ATLANTA, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DLH Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DLHC) (“DLH” or the “Company”), a leading provider of digital, engineering, and scientific solutions for health and defense missions, today announced that it has been awarded a task order to design, develop, and pilot a data governance framework for secure access to controlled biomedical research data by the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”).

Under this task order, DLH will serve as a technical advisor to harmonize NIH and federal data policies and integrate governance workflows across biomedical data platforms, piloting a data management approach within the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (“NHLBI”) and at least one other NIH Institute or Center which could serve as a roadmap for NIH-wide adoption. DLH will incorporate security, privacy, data rights, and artificial intelligence (“AI”) governance requirements where applicable, and collect performance metrics related to usability, compliance, interoperability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
