Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. V and GOWell Energy Technology Announce Effectiveness of Registration Statement for Proposed Business Combination

NEW YORK, Aug. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. V (NASDAQ: IPEX), a special purpose acquisition company (“SPAC”) sponsored by Inflection Point Fund I LP, and GOWell Technology Limited (“GOWell”) today announced that the registration statement on Form F-4 (File No. 333-294547) (as amended, the “Registration Statement”), filed by GOWell and GOWell Energy Technology (“PubCo”), relating to the previously-announced business combination among SPAC, GOWell, PubCo, and the other parties thereto (the “Business Combination”), has been declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).

The extraordinary general meeting of SPAC shareholders to approve the Business Combination (the “Extraordinary General Meeting”) will be held on September 3, 2026. The proxy statement/prospectus relating to the Extraordinary General Meeting will be mailed to SPAC’s shareholders of record as of the close of business on the record date of June 30, 2026.
