MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IPG Photonics today announced that from October 6(th) though October 8(th), 2026, IPG Defense will participate in Land Forces 2026 in Perth, Australia to showcase CROSSBOW™ High-Energy Laser (HEL) Systems. This key industry event provides a platform to forge strategic alliances and collaborate to shape the future of the global aerospace and defense market.
In the IPG Defense booth, visitors will experience both the previously released CROSSBOW MINI and the first addition to the new CROSSBOW SE product line, the CROSSBOW SE1 8 kW. Multiple systems will be on display in a typical layered defense arrangement to showcase several deployment scenarios first-hand. Both products share the same scalable architecture and easily integrate with available radar and C2 systems. CROSSBOW MINI systems allow for rapid expeditionary deployment where mobility is critical, and the CROSSBOW SE product line provides increased laser power options for longer range defense against Group I-III UAS threats.
