Meta tests human concierge to handle calls placed through Muse AI

Meta (META) is testing a “human concierge” in which contractors quietly handle some phone calls placed through Muse, prompting employee concerns about sensitive information reaching call centers.

The Facebook and Instagram owner informed employees about the test last week, shortly after publicly launching a phone calling feature for Muse, according to one of the internal company posts seen by Reuters.
