April Arnzen, Executive vice president, chief people officer and president of the Micron Foundation

“As we expand, we are investing in what matters most to our neighbors: affordable housing, career pathways, easier commutes and a head start on savings for Idaho's children. Together with our community partners, we are committed to ensuring the families who call Idaho home share in the opportunities ahead.”

Brad Little, Governor of Idaho

“Idaho’s success has always been built on strong partnerships, and Micron has been a vital partner for nearly half a century”

Brad Little, Governor of Idaho

“Micron’s growth means good-paying jobs for Idahoans, and I appreciate that the company is matching that growth with real investment in the things families feel every day: buying a home, driving to work and giving their kids a strong future with opportunities here at home. Putting money directly into savings accounts for Idaho children is exactly the kind of private-sector leadership that keeps Idaho a great place to live, work and raise a family.”

Mike Moyle, Speaker of the Idaho House of Representatives

“Companies that call Idaho home have a role to play in helping our working families get ahead”

Mike Moyle, Speaker of the Idaho House of Representatives

“From savings accounts for Idaho kids to housing and transportation, Micron is putting real dollars behind its Idaho roots, and that’s a model I hope other employers in this state will follow.”

Lauren McLean, Mayor of Boise

“Building more homes that Boiseans can afford takes partners who are willing to roll up their sleeves and invest in solutions”

Lauren McLean, Mayor of Boise

“Thanks to Micron's investment, we are one step closer to bringing clean geothermal heat to hundreds of affordable homes in Boise. This is what is possible when the city brings public, private and philanthropic partners together around a shared commitment to Boise’s future.”

Elaine Clegg, CEO of Valley Regional Transit

“Getting people to work, school and everyday destinations is how a growing region stays connected. Micron’s significant $11.6 million investment over five years will expand regional bus services and introduce VRT On-Demand in Boise, giving all residents of the valley a flexible way to get around. As demand increases, transit provides a proven alternative that can reduce the number of vehicles on the road. We are grateful for Micron's partnership, leadership and commitment to our community, and riders will see it on the road with Micron-supported vehicles and services early next year.”

Bart Cochran, CEO of LEAP Housing

“Whether it’s a family looking for a rental they can afford or a young couple trying to buy their first home, Idahoans are eager for housing opportunity. Micron’s $8 million investment will help LEAP build 30 new rental homes in Mountain Home and help up to 200 families across five Idaho counties with down payments on their first homes. Construction can start quickly, which means Idaho families will feel the difference soon.”

Owen Fisher, CEO and Founder of J. Fisher Companies

“Our purpose at J. Fisher Companies is to build places for everyone, and the Lusk District puts that purpose to work in Boise. Micron's $2.5 million investment helps close the funding gap on more than 340 affordable homes close to downtown, so more Idaho families can build their lives in the heart of the city.”

Bobbi-Jo Meuleman, President & CEO of Boise Metro Chamber

“For 48 years, Micron has been an important part of Boise’s business community, and its commitment to the region extends far beyond its campus. Through investments in housing, transportation and Idaho families, Micron continues to demonstrate what it means to be a strong community partner. We appreciate Micron’s continued commitment to strengthening our region and creating opportunities for generations to come.”
