Expert Statements
Craig Nunez, President and Chief Operating Officer of Natural Resource Partners L.P.
“NRP generated $45 million of free cash flow in the third quarter of 2026 and $166 million of free cash flow over the last twelve months before accounting for the $39 million investment we made in our soda ash business in the first quarter of 2026. I am pleased to say we fully repaid the remaining $13 million balance on our credit facility during the third quarter. Consistent with our communications throughout the year, we are able to significantly increase the distribution this quarter and will pay out $32 million, or $2.34 per common unit. I am delighted that we are nearing the end of our long journey to de-lever and de-risk the business, especially in light of the challenging market environment facing all three of our key commodities.”
