OpenAI is discussing a $30 billion financing round with UAE funds and BlackRock, with the UAE investors considering as much as $10 billion at about a $1.4 trillion valuation.
Abu Dhabi-based MGX is among several United Arab Emirates investment funds discussing the financing, according to people familiar with the matter. The UAE funds would form a syndicate and have discussed investing as much as $10 billion altogether, one person said.
