(the “Company” - Nasdaq: OBT), parent company of Orange Bank & Trust Co. (the “Bank”) and Orange Investment Advisors, Inc. (“OIA”), today announced net income of $12.5 million, or $0.93 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended September 30, 2026. This compares with net income of $10.0 million, or $0.75 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended September 30, 2025. The increase in earnings per share, basic and diluted, was due primarily to an increase in net interest income, which included a reduction in borrowing costs due to deposit growth, and reduction in provision for credit losses, partially offset by a decrease in noninterest income, resulting from the recognition of bank owned life insurance income in the prior year period. For the nine months ended September 30, 2026, net income reached $37.4 million, or $2.80 per basic and diluted share, as compared to $29.2 million, or $2.39 per basic and diluted share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2025.
