Expert Statements

Carlos P. Naudon, President and CEO of Ponce Financial Group, Inc.

“Ponce continues to show strong results and deliver shareholder value. While the quarter includes some non-recurring items, our performance was robust even before accounting for those one-time events. Book value per share stands at $14.60, representing a $1.90 increase over the last twelve months. Furthermore, our net interest income continues to benefit from disciplined pricing and growth in earning assets, while non-performing assets decreased during the quarter to 50 basis points. Our capital position remains exceptionally strong and well in excess of regulatory requirements. We remain deeply committed to the communities we serve, and we will continue investing in both our people and technology to drive further operational efficiency.”

Steven A. Tsavaris, Executive Chairman of Ponce Financial Group

“We are pleased with our robust business activity during the quarter. As previously reported, we filed our second-quarter Quarterly Supplemental Report (QSR), which marks 16 consecutive quarters of deep impact lending above the 60% required threshold to repurchase our Preferred Stock. The U.S. Department of the Treasury has confirmed that the Company met this deep impact threshold. Consequently, we are actively collaborating with Treasury and its legal counsel to finalize the next steps for the Preferred Stock repurchase.”
