Expert Statements

Matthew Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rhinebeck Bancorp, Inc.

“Our third-quarter results reflect continued progress in strengthening our financial performance while positioning the franchise for its next phase of growth. We delivered a 17% increase in net income compared to the prior year, supported by growth in net interest income, disciplined funding management, and improving credit performance. The successful completion of our second-step conversion in July marked a significant milestone for our organization, providing the capital and flexibility to accelerate the execution of our strategic plan. We are focused on deploying the capital raised in the conversion to expand our commercial banking franchise, deepen existing client relationships, and develop new digital banking capabilities that diversify our funding sources and support sustainable growth. As we move forward, our priority remains translating these investments into profitable growth, improved operating performance, and long-term value creation for our shareholders.”
