Safe Pro Successfully Completes U.S. Army Project Convergence Capstone 6 Demonstrating AI-Powered Threat Detection and Mapping Capabilities Utilizing Drone-Based Imagery
AVENTURA, Fla., July 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Safe Pro Group Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAI) (“Safe Pro” or the “Company”), a developer of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled defense, security, and situational awareness solutions, announced today that it has successfully completed its participation in the U.S. Army’s Project Convergence Capstone 6 (PC-C6) exercise, a future warfare experiment conducted by the Army and premier allied nations focused on next generation command and control and emerging battlefield technologies.
Throughout the 10-day PC-C6 exercise at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California, Safe Pro trained soldiers on how small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) can be used in conjunction with Safe Pro’s patented AI-powered threat detection and mapping solutions operating on the edge. Safe Pro’s backpack sized Navigation Observation & Detection Engine-X (NODE-X) and OnSight software were highlighted in multiple missions in front of Army command and technical staff as well as distinguished visitors evaluating emerging technologies for future modernization and acquisition decisions. Under realistic combat training conditions, soldiers utilized NODE to analyze drone imagery and create detailed maps of threats including landmines and cluster munitions, rapidly sharing data across U.S. Army planning platforms in support of operational decision-making. The goal of the PC-C6 exercise is to evaluate new technologies and generate operational feedback that can help guide the Army’s future modernization efforts.
