“We sincerely thank the Central People's Government, the Macao SAR Government, and the people of Macao for their long-standing guidance and support. As an enterprise rooted in Macao, we have once again partnered with NBA Cares to extend the impact of a world-class sporting event and bring support to every corner of the local community. Serving alongside local social service organisations, we are dedicated to building more caring and impactful community services. Together with NBA legends, we have engaged with communities across Macao, extending warmth while harnessing the power of sport to bring people together and promote social inclusion. Looking ahead, Sands China remains committed to supporting local community initiatives and working together with all sectors of society to foster the diversified and inclusive development of Macao.”

Grant Chum, Chief executive officer and executive director of Sands China Ltd.

“Sands China has always been committed to serving the community, and we are delighted to leverage this year's world-class NBA China Games to bring together caring efforts from across the region and join hands with the Fuhong Society of Macau to deliver boxed lunches to people in need within the city. As an inclusive platform that combines community service with vocational training, Happy Kitchen empowers people of all abilities to realise their potential and better integrate into the community.”

Grant Chum, Chief executive officer and executive director of Sands China Ltd.

“With the guidance of the Macao SAR Government and the continued support of all sectors of the community for Sands China's community care efforts, we are pleased to support this meaningful initiative and work together to foster a more inclusive community. Coinciding with World Mental Health Day, we are also encouraging greater awareness of physical and mental well-being through wellness workshops and interactive activities, helping foster a caring and inclusive society. Looking ahead, Sands China will continue to leverage the opportunities arising from international events in Macao, supporting the city's economic diversification while uniting partners across sectors to make a positive and lasting contribution to the community, and to jointly build a healthier and happier Macao.”

Jennifer Chou, Director of Fuhong Society of Macau

“Happy Kitchen is a social enterprise established by Fuhong Society of Macau in August this year. Through our meal service operations, we provide vocational training and work experiences for persons with disabilities, individuals in mental health recovery, and young people with special educational needs. To date, more than 30 trainees have engaged in various aspects of training, including meal preparation, food portioning, lunch box packaging, and customer service. By serving approximately 250 meals to the community each day, this initiative enables our trainees to gain practical skills and valuable experience in a real-world working environment.”

Jennifer Chou, Director of Fuhong Society of Macau

“This boxed lunch and meal voucher distribution initiative, held at Happy Kitchen as part of the NBA Cares x Sands Cares Community Impact Week 2026, brought the community together through sports and wellness while extending care to those in need. The initiative also provided an opportunity for more people to recognise the capabilities, dedication and contributions of our members. By working together, corporations and social enterprises can combine resources and expertise to create more opportunities for persons with disabilities to access vocational training, gain practical work experience, and contribute to the community, building a healthier, more caring and inclusive society for all.”
