(NASDAQ: WETH) ("WeTouch" or the "Company"), a developer and manufacturer of advanced touch display solutions, today announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Hefei Aoweixun Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. ("Aoweixun"), a China-based robotics technology company and an established supplier to one of China's top robotics companies, to jointly develop next-generation touch sensing, human-machine interaction and intelligent interface solutions for robotic systems.
The collaboration represents an important step in WeTouch's strategy to expand beyond its traditional touch display business into the emerging markets for artificial intelligence (AI) robotics, intelligent hardware and smart elderly care solutions. By integrating WeTouch's established touch technology capabilities with Aoweixun's expertise in robotic systems, motion control and intelligent algorithms, the companies intend to develop commercially applicable technologies and products for a broad range of robotic applications.
