Expert Statements
Jennifer Bath, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of MindWalk
“Across the industry, the constraint in antibody discovery is no longer generating data. It is connecting and governing that data and carrying what a program team learns to the next phase”
JC Gutierrez-Ramos, Senior Vice President and Chief Science Officer of Danaher
“This lab represents a new model for scientific discovery, where AI, automation and human expertise work together in a continuous learning cycle. Speed is what supercharges that cycle. Every result sharpens the next design, so the faster each loop runs, the faster discovery compounds.”
Emily M. Leproust, Ph.D., CEO and co-founder of Twist Bioscience
“The quality of an AI model’s output depends on the quality of the data used to train it. Twist has the scale and high-throughput capabilities to generate consistent and reliable antibody characterization data these models need to be trained on.”
Kimberly Powell, Vice president of healthcare at NVIDIA
“Agentic and physical AI are opening new possibilities across medicine, from designing proteins and powering autonomous laboratories to improving personalized cancer care.”
Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO, AMD
“Building the compute platforms for the next generation of AI requires a deep understanding of how models are evolving. Fei-Fei and the World Labs team bring exceptional research leadership and model expertise.”
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wall Street Investor News Commentary - For most of the history of antibody discovery, the hard part was producing candidates. Generative models, high-throughput assays and automated labs have changed that, and the industry is running into a different limit. Every program generates sequences, structures, assay readouts and failed designs, and much of that record never travels cleanly into the next program. Drug developers, lab-tools makers and chip suppliers are now building around the problem, and the announcements of recent weeks show where the engineering effort is going. Companies mentioned in today’s commentary include: MindWalk Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: HYFT), Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD), NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR), Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST).
Pressure is also coming from Washington. On April 10, 2025, the FDA announced a plan to phase out the animal testing requirement for monoclonal antibodies and other drugs, pointing to approaches that include AI-based computational models of toxicity and encouraging sponsors to include data from these new approach methodologies in investigational new drug applications. In its one-year progress report, published in April 2026, the agency said it had qualified its first artificial intelligence-based drug development tool.
